When I need Epson printer ink cartridges for my Epson Stylus C84 printer I have a few options. I get to decide what size cartridge of black ink I want. I can choose between a small cheaper cartridges that will print a few hundred pages or I can pay more for a larger industrial sized cartridge that will print approximately double the number of pages. Although I like the convenience of the large size my decision is normally based on my budget. I’m also faced with a few choice in my purchase of colored ink cartridges. The Epson Stylus actually uses three separate colored Epson printer ink cartridges, one filled with each of the three primary colors.
When I need to replace them I can either buy each individual cartridge or I can buy all three in one package or I can choose to purchase all three in one package. Because the price is significantly less to buy all three colors at once I tend to take that option whether I need all three cartridges or not.

When you are using a Epson Stylus printer you should never have to worry about running out of ink because you can see your printer properties, including the ink levels in each of the four cartridges, every time you enter the printer properties menu.
One of the down sides to the Epson printer ink cartridges for my Epson Stylus is that they can run out of ink when they are still full of ink. This happens when the cartridge is not used. The clock on these cartridges starts ticking the second you remove the clear plastic covering from the bottom of the cartridge. The average life expectancy of the Epson Stylus printer inkjet cartridges I have used is about one year after I open them. After a year the quality declines.
Another thing that I have learned using a Epson Stylus printer is that if one cartridge runs out of ink the printer will not print until you have replaced the empty cartridge.
Removing and reinstalling the Epson printer ink cartridges into my Epson C84 is simple and I couldn’t ask for better print quality. Everything I print looks incredible.
