Computer printer ink is one of the most common and recurring costs to owning a computer. Obviously you can own a computer without owning a printer, and if you have a very limited amount of needs from your home computer system, this may actually be a viable option, but for most people who want their computer to serve a variety of purposes, the thought of spending all that money on a computer without having any way to print is just ludicrous. That means that you need ink, and whether it is colored ink to print excellent photographs or just the good old black and white for a high school or college paper, printing ink is going to be one of the major costs of having a computer system.
A good analogy for computer printer ink is to compare it to gasoline for a car. A good computer system can last years without major maintenance, assuming it is taken care of and kept in optimal conditions. You may buy a car for X number of dollars, but does that mean that's all it costs? No, you have to get gas, oil, insurance, etc. A computer doesn't require maintenance nearly to the degree that a vehicle does, but by far and away the stuff you will need most is computer printer ink, which will need to be changed on a semi regular basis.
Computer printer ink comes in all types of quality and colors. Color printers have come a long way and can now print of photographs with a quality that many cameras can't even match. But nothing challenges normal black computer printer ink. Perfect for papers, reports, letters, this is easy to run through quickly and needs to be bought and replaced to keep everything running smoothly. Do this and your computer will be as productive and helpful as you had hoped.
